Video and animation assets are an important part of many brands’ digital presence, which is why we’re excited to announce Lingo now supports the following asset types:

Video
✅ .mov
✅ .mp4

Animation
✅ Lottie files (.json)
✅ .gif

These new assets types can be added from both the web and the Mac app — for the Mac app you’ll need to update to the latest version. To add these new asset types simply drag the file icon and drop it in the gallery where you want the assets to be displayed.

To play the assets you’ll need to preview them by either double clicking the asset (web only) or by pressing the space bar (web and Mac app).
